We simply want to build a place like [login to view URL] And for this we want to use: [login to view URL] Wich have it allready made out from the box, but we want it installed so it function like SL on our own servers. And we have several other things we want to custom build after this is installed and ready to use... As this is a field we have no expertice in, we want qualified freelancers only, that also are able to see thing and come with ideas to development we want to do further. This shall be an long term project, but we want a fixed price on the aboe installation. So we have the secondlife functionality and look from opensim software. Look forward to find the great freelancer on this project.

Hello, I know OpenSim and it is actually relatively simple to install and use stand alone. Certain things in it like the Physics Implementation are actually better than Second Lifes'. However it also requires crossover skills that a pure 3D design studio may not have in house for online use. Ignore the knee jerk bids and use me. This project will also require a certain amount of LAMP or WAMP Skills for the administration. I can install and set up the servers from scratch (Linux/Windows, Ubuntu server a preference for this), the database server and set up OpenSim. I admit I'm a new contractor and there are many further questions I need to ask so I can at least advise. For instance are you monetarising this (as in accepting money) and is this for a closed or open user base. Will you be running this on a server cloud with database replication and is this likely to be connected to the larger OpenSim grids such as the New US Army one. Also although England isn't the other side of the world. Can I work from home on this.
