Change style on a Visual Basic 2010 application (and optionally upgrade to VS 2015)

I have a VPN Client based on [login to view URL] The screenshots of how it looks now are included. As you can see it has no side borders which does not look nice on white backgrounds. I would like it to have a modern (Windows 10 like?) look most likely using current (white,green,light blue) colors, but I am ready to look at your offers. I do not mind you using any public styles etc. as long as they look good. VS 2015: Due to the current design of the app it does not work with VS 2015 form editor. (the rest of the program works). I would prefer it's new design to be compatible, but it is not a must. You will get all the VS 2010 compatible source code of the app. I expect to receive the full source of redesigned application at the end of the project.
