Design Company Mascot

I am in need of a true graphic artist. I don’t mean someone with a copy of photoshop that plays around. I am looking for someone that has some natural talent that can create a cartoon type of graphic to my specs to be used in a variety of situations, both on-line & in print media, as a company mascot. This will be an animal type of mascot. I am not looking for a corporate logo, we have one. I am looking for an artist in the truest sense of the word. If you are not, please do not waste your time or mine! Only those that reside and work in the continental US need to respond. Only those that have a brilliant grasp of the English language need respond. Only those that can provide a US phone number where they can be reached, if selected for this job, need respond. Only those that provide a url to their portfolio will be considered. This will be an on going project as I will need the artwork changed from time to time as needed and dictated by current and/or future use. I know that there is a true artist out there somewhere.
