Design Specification Required for B2B Business Consultancy Services Site and Blog

Brief: Are you creative and skilled in website design??? If so, read on.... You should be somebody who is competent in web design (& perhaps development) to clearly articulate a set of requirements and functional design for a B2B consultancy services website. The deliverables of this are to deliver: 1. Business Requirements Document (as per the sample RAC FAQ or better) 2. Requirements Tracing Matrix (as per the sample RAC FAQ or better) 3. Functional Design Template (as per template on RAC FAQ or better) Fund Release: • 50% of funds will be released on my sign-off of deliverables 1 & 2 • 50% of funds will be released on my sign-off of deliverable 3 • A 50% bonus will be paid when the website is delivered to the requirements specified and the design • A further 50% bonus will be paid when Google ranks the developed site a.) on page 1 and b.) above the nearest competitors (see attachment) for at least 1 month of activity. My business is part of this franchise organisation: [login to view URL] The business in the UK has 150+ franchisees; each with responsibility for generating and delivering business for the overall franchise. The business helps medium sized companies (our customers) reduce overhead costs. We do this through negotiating better deals for them. Where we make a saving, we get paid half this saving as our fee. I would like to have a website designed and built that allows my customers (and the customers of a few trusted colleagues) to receive insights from me and other bloggers about initiatives we are involved with and developments in the cost areas we cover. ## Deliverables Whilst my technical comprehension and communication is pretty good; it isn't strong in the realm of website design and development. The Business Requirements documents need to reflect the spirit and ambitions for the website that I have collected in the attached set of loosely structured notes and thoughts. The absolute must-haves are the needs for it to be highly visible via excellent SEO, to link with other social networking sites to provide updates (especially LinkedIn) and to allow multiple bloggers to use the site (even if they have to register with the same service). Show your creativity to capture how the requirements need to be structured to deliver. The Functional Design needs to reflect the importance of high-quality website design that I expect and the criticality of very good SEO for key and related terms (e.g. cost reduction, overheads, cost savings and some of the areas we cover (e.g. list here: [login to view URL]). Branding guidelines and some sample images are also attached to this request with the design notes. Please supply sample design documentation and examples of projects you have helped developed when responding to this bid (links / otherwise). I will be selecting the winning bidder based on: • competency (historic activities and evidence), • quality of sample deliverables and • most appropriate suggestions for how to establish the full and comprehensive set of requirements from me for this (but without overburdening me for feedback requests). Quality, experience and competence are paramount. If you do a great job and demonstrate very strong capability in delivering this project, I would like to think that there will be opportunities for further design work as the website expands or the initiative continues.... With more time I would research detailed requirements and document these requirements effectively myself, so please no time-wasters!!!
