Dear Employer, I represent IT Wizard, a Romanian based company specialized in embedded/mobile development. Answering your questions: We have extensive experience with audio codecs, we ported the ANSI C code and optimized the G722, G729ab, G722.1, G729i for the StarCode140, as subcontractors for Freescale; all of them are currently used in commercial products. Our latest project “Mezzofanti – Augmented reality through text recognition” was developed for Android and submitted for the ADC2 at the end of August 2009. All the code is available online, if you want to take a look over the code quality. Previously we supervised the development of a SIP phone for Linux from scratch, so we are aware of the insides of SIP software. It may be a good idea to consider, to use the ANSI C 729 standard, and compile it for Android, and interface it with the sipdroid through NDK/JNI (our Mezzofanti code depicts this technique). You will port the standard quicker, and also the software will run faster. We are doing successful outsourcing from the start of the company in 2005, mainly for US based companies.
