Browser based document and multimedia viewer

We are looking to create an in browser document reader that could also display video elements (i.e. YouTube videos, or pure audio playback). Original documents are in PDF but will be converted to either HTML (most probably) or maybe even some of the eBook formats. Unlike some existing document viewers which are mostly Flash based, this one should be completely developed using standard Javascript, HTML and CSS. Document reader must be cross-browser compatible and must render nicely on tablet and phone devices as well. We are looking for a highly skilled web developer that can implement this in a reasonable amount of time. Since UI is a big part of this project we would like to see examples of some of the previous work that you've done. If you've done something similar to this - that will be a big plus. We already have a backend developer and you will be working with him. European based (or somewhere close) freelancers are preferable.
