Proposal for Fire Modelling . About Myself and Experience I am a CFD Engineer having more than 3 years work expereince in the field of CFD Simulation of Fluid Machinery and Discrete Phase Modelling using Ansys Fluent and CFX . I have good meshing expereince in ICEMCFD with hex and tet mesh .Currently in Germany doing Masters in Thermo and Fluid Dynamics. My area of specialization is turbulence modelling ,applied thermodynamics and CFD simulation. I have done my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering to support further in the field of thermodynamics and chemistry involved in fire modelling. Project Understanding 1. Fire modelling requires an understanding of air fuel ratio for combustion. The physical model has to be meshed with good quality,Volume Change,aspect ratio. 2. Imported in Fluent and setting up boundary conditions , simulating the model until the residuals are below 10e-4 to 10e-6 range. 3. Its a transient approach , hence the time step has to be really low to counter the respective Courant Number and to maintain below 1 for good convergence. 4. Using Cuthill numbering for faster convergence. 5. Direct Numerical Simulation requires very good mesh for convergence and requires a lot of time and it solves the Navier Stokes Equation directly without averaging. I feel I am confident to take up this project and finish on time with all requirements necessary and goals of the project. Hence I will charging $155 for 10 days . Best Regards, Manoj

Hi, I am Sourabh Jain, I have years of experience in CFD tool development and analysis. I use openFOAM for CFD analysis. I can provide the simulation using openFOAM-DNS. If you feel like discussing it further, I like to request for some technical details like fire source specifications, expected fire temperature (broadly) etc. Please let me know. Regards Sourabh
