Hello,
A programmer previously created a program for me that would download files to a database so they could then be exported to Access and Excel.
To see a sample of the files being downloaded, go to: <[login to view URL]>
and enter case number: 01CV124001
The original programmer is no longer working on RAC, so I would like to find someone who could make two changes to the program:
1. Currently, the format for downloading cases is:
Case Prefix:
Case Start:
Case End:
And that is working for the cases that have this kind of format: 0511-CV00001 where the 0511-CV goes in the prefix area.
I have a new set of cases that don't use the hyphen in the case number and so I keep getting an error. An example would be case number: 01CV124001. In this case, the prefix is actually the 01CV12.
I still need it to work in the old prefix format, I just need the new one added.
2. Whenever there is a case down loading that has an apostrophe in the text, it bumps the text following the apostrophe into the next field. Is it possible to correct that?
No generic bids please.
Thanks.
