Use Google Drive instead of Dropbox, I have designed an app for Saudi campus with multiple user access with Zero issues of concurrent access. The problem of this one is that GDrive syncs data every 5 minutes. If this doesn't bother you then this should satisfy your needs. 2. User shared back-end over LAN. This solution requires an already established LAN in your firm. 3. Use MySQL server for back-end hosting. This should be one of the best way to have a shared app, but it will cost you some more money for hosting and coding. However, GDrive and LAN both provide same services for free. I’ve read your project description and can see that you would like to share your Access 2013 database with multiple-user so users can use the same database simultaneously. The best option for your particular requirement is Office 365 ProPlus plan which will cost you about $12 USD/Month. We need to split your database in two part the Front-End and the Back-End. The Front-End will contain all the database object except the tables(Data) like Queries, Forms, Reports, Macros, Modules etc. while the Back-End will contain only tables(Data). Hi, if the database is well and running and all I need to do is to upgrade it to a shared and multiple environment is quite an easy task. Paying more than a $100 dollars is an overcosting. Good Day, As a database specialist and trainer for the past 12 years I know I am the best to help you with your current issue. I wil say this though, running a database on a shared or cloud drive is exceptionally dangerous and should never be done as this will corrupt the system over time. Since you already have the database in place I would strongly suggest that a local drive share be setup and the database be moved in their soonest. Further, Access has a means of handling multi user enviroments by creating 2 copies of the database, one with the actual data and the other, the front end (forms and reports and macros with code). Doing this allows access to handle the users and data in a safe and very powerful way. There are many different ways of setting this up in a production enviroment that is safe and good for the database. If you want, we can discuss these a bit further. If I knkw what the future plans are I can advise further. Overall, getting all of the above setup should take about 3 days do. I would say that cost all depend on the amount of users mainly. This differs as the cost for sharepoint can differ based on the solution needed. Also are you using office365 for your users currently? If so this may be a way to cut on cost. My biggest things to give you a real quote on cost outside of my own would be again how many users, if you are currently using office 365, and about how much data usage you currently have and how much you foresee in the future. Based on these I could give you a realistic time frame as well as extra cost and my final cost. However if your unsure of your space requirements that is fine.

that is the downfall of access hosted data. the database needs to have the forms setup external of access to permit multiple user access. I can write the forms needed in either c# or VB. alternatively have you considered going to my sql for the database side, or better yet sql server?
