We are a small design firm who has a client that needs an ecommerce site done. We purchased a copy of AspDotNetStorefront ML 9.0.1.3/9.0.1.2. and installed it on our server. At this time we do not have the man power or time to learn the system to implement the site in a timely manor, so we are seeking expert help to implement our design and setup the store to function as requested by the client. This website will primarlily sell Honda dirt bike parts and custom built engines, they build four-stroke engine heads, built by the best guys in the industry. Along with engines they will sell Exhaust Systems, Clutches, and Pistons. The heads will come in complete kits, however they would like to also be able to sell the parts of a head individually as well, so ported heads, valves, springs, cams, pistons, gaskets… etc. This client also owns another site that is built on a php cart solution that I don’t know anything about. They may want to offer some of (or all of) these products in this store as well, but there is no plan to combine the stores or connect the stores in any way. Using the jpg files I provided, the navigation is broken up in the following way. 1) Products This will be the products by type that they offer. 2) Tech Support This area is to be a knowledge base area for tips (videos) and FAQ’s regarding products and such (A lot of this information doesn’t yet exist) 3) Race Team a page that will describe the race team a bit and link to their race team page ([login to view URL]) 4) About A simple page about the tuf racing store and product philosophy. 5) Catalog This button probably won’t be on the initial run, they are hoping to offer a catalog for download and or the possibility of ordering a paper version of their catalog. A catalog does not yet exist because the full line of products they are to offer has not yet fully been developed. 6) Blog The blog is a blog that one of the engine builders is going to maintain. 7) Contact Us This is going to be phone number and address and a contact form for email, the basic contact information stuff. By looking at the home page you can see what we’ve discussed with the client so far. They want to be able to search by make model and year or by product type. As you can see in the left column. They will want to post videos and tech tip videos, which I assume will be hosted by vimeo or youtube (or both), and simply linked to pages under their tech support area. I do not know yet what videos exist or how they will be broken up, whether they need to go into categories or not, I would assume they will need to be categorized in some fashion. The client has begun to put together a list of products, they are broken up into the following categories so far: Engine Exhaust Control/Brake Body Accessories I’m including an excel document with the first draft of their product offering. I hope this is enough information to give me an idea cost wise and time wise what it will take to do this project. The site is being hosted currently on our server, and we’d like to keep it that way, the version is AspDotNetStorefront ML 9.0.1.3/9.0.1.2. If you have any questions please let me know.
