I have a .NET remoting server in vb.net, it is a custom host (.exe). It is an audio controller which will play mp3 on the server's machine. As it is a custom host, it will not be hosted on IIS or window services. I successfully managed to invoke the exposed methods from a .NET remoting client (windows app) but i have very little success with getting an asp.net client to invoke the exposed methods on the custom host.
What is required of this project is that you have to write a simple asp.net .net remoting client (with 2 buttons which will invoke the "Play()" and "Stop()" methods on the custom host so it will play mp3.) This can be easily achieved if the coder is experienced .NET remoting within an hour or half a day. Codes for the .NET host and .NET client for winapp wiill be provided. So what is needed is just a simple asp.net remoting client that consumes the exposed methods.

## Platform
-Custom Host was created with .NET remoting in VS2003 (.exe)
[login to view URL] remoting client was created in VS2003 (.exe)
Both of the above are running on windows XP.
The asp.net client must be built with asp.net 2.0 and to be tested on the IIS. The type of remoting configuration must be via a config file.
'Comments must be there to explain the codes
'A short step by step of writing of the client is needed too.
Thanks
