asp.net complex pdf creation from HTML for print catalog

We have an asp.net vb site with access db. We want to generate pdf files from multiple html files and use it to produce a basic? printed catalog. The catalog is basic but html to pdf operation is more complex then usual. HTML pages contain tables which are londer then standart A4 size. So the tables must be diveded into multiple pages? in order to fit to A4 size. Also a footer and header file must be included to all pages aswell. Also we have to find the correct layout dimensions by overcoming the problem of screen vs paper. So we can get the desired layout of the catalog in print. You can find the details below. ## Deliverables We have a content management system which the user will click a button in order to generate the print ready catalog file. Two copies of pdf should be generated. one for print (a4 sized), and second for web distribution(with size reduced) We have prepared a html file with links of other htmls which the pdfs will be generated from. This file is:? catalog\[login to view URL] Your code must crawl this page and extract the links of htmls. (the links are generated from db, so the links are dynamic and number of links can change) It sounds like a good idea to generate seperate pdfs from these links and then combine them. The final pdf will have a cover page(which is a 150dpi? image file) And it will have multiple pages which? have? 3 layout templates. Also all pages must include a header(logo) and footer(contact detail)? file(which are also prepared as html files)(only cover page will not use header & footer) 1st template is only one page and it should fit to an A4 without a problem. 2nd template is generated dynamicly from db and the content is put in to one table. in some pages which is using this template the table height won't fit to an A4 paper. So you have to find a solution for dividing the table across multiple pages. Some pages of this template doesn't require dividing(they will fit) But as the content is dynamic we don't know which will and which will not(it's possible that none will fit in the future) If the table is divided across multiple pages the section header(not the page header) must be placed in all of these pages. 3rd template is similar to the 2nd one. there is a long html table which contains db records with image files. every record has one image file and every A4 page will show max. 2 records(images) It is possible that the html files? need to? be rearranged in order to get the desired layout of the final pdf.(height, width, font size, margins, etc...) This probably won't be related with your code but if it does you have to provide the necessery changes by closely working with us. Don't forget that you have to explain your possible solutions? and discuss it with us in order to find the most efficient way to code this application before you begin coding.
