ActiveX Control (Internet Band Object)

This project is for the development of an activex plugin in for Internet explorer The activex control will be modelled on [login to view URL] In as much as it should provide the following functionality: 1. Download automatically and create a toolbar button 2. Allow for un-installation 3. Check for updates each time it is used, if there are updates it should automatically download and install 3. Show an Internet Band Object on the left hand side, which will use DHTML It DOES NOT NEED to implement the sidestep functionality. The control should be developed in C++ and be small and light-weight It should have the ability to interact with the browser through the use of the standard library implementations - so that clicking a button in the control will allow a page to be navigated to in the main browser window Thanks ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
