**Adding a user to SPS site using .net 1.1**

**End Goal:**

I would like to have a working and tested piece code using .net framework 1.1 that would add an Active Directory user to a Sharepoint Team Site (WSS Site) with as a specified role (eg. Contributor, Reader)

**Approach:**

The application should be **a windows Application**.

The application will **use Sharepoint Web Services** to communicate with sharepoint

The application will have a form that will contain **the following input fields**

Sitename: (the site the user should be added to)

User: (the Active Directory userid of the person to be added to that site)

Role: (a drop down field of Reader, Contributor, etc..)

On pressing the **“Add user button**?? the user will be added to that site as a user.

**Important!**

Its is very important that the code you send in be tested and fully working before you submit it.

You will need the following environments:

Active Directory

Sharepoint 2003 (WSS)

.Net 1.1 Development Environment

If you don’t have any of the above or cannot set them up please do not bid on this project.

**Your job is to**

Write the code needed to achieve the end goal mentioned above.

Test the code make sure it works on your environment

Package the code in a Visual Studio Solution (.sln file) and submit it

Provide some help in having me setup the environment here to run the code.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
