Client Side Javascript TCP Port Check

We need a web page, that when visited by a client, initiates the client’s machine to connect to a defined and changeable set of ports on the web server. The client’s machine will need to connect to these ports, one at a time. The connection needs to be made via TCP. The port only has to be opened then closed successfully, one at a time. Each successful connection to a port needs to then pass back to the web page a changeable message to the client’s web browser. The port connection must be initiated from the client’s workstation. The server will have the TCP port opened, but will not send any data back. No data needs to be extracted from the stream by either the client or the server. Upon successful connection to the port, the web page will display a changeable message. All successfully connected ports will then need to be passed (minus the message) to another page via a <FORM> data transfer (POST is the preferred method). It is preferred that the page be written in Javascript, but any other language is acceptable. There can be no code downloaded to the client’s machine, other than java classes, javascript, VBS, or activex controls. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform IIS or Apache
