Custom Field Search Database

A job site which we are writing from scratch in PHP/MySQL we need some assistance writing the search feature as it needs to include a way of adding/editing/removing custom fields in an admin area and the ability to search theses fields AND display these in the actual individual job pages. For example there will be the basic search options which will allow users to search for keywords on the job description and the location of the job. In the admin area we need to be able to add custom fields such as 'miles flown' or "number of years experience", 'type of aircraft' etc. These will generally be searchable as a drop down list or as radio option fields. There must be an automated way that these fields can appear on the "add jobs/edit job" forms on the site. In addition we would like a CV matching service. This will match jobs to peoples desired criteria. It will search the mysql database to find matching jobs and e-mail them once a week. This can be be run from cron or similar. All code must be totally owned by us as we will be selling the script in future. Outcomes: Admin area to control custom field. User can add/modify fields of different types and choose how they are displayed on a form, e.g. drop down, radio button (this may need to be stored in a config file of some kind) Modification of our add/edit jobs script to display the additional fields as specified in admin area. A page where users can change their job matching prefrences and choose criteria including the custom fields as specified in the admin area. Also they can set how often they would like to receive job matching emails. A fully working search script enabling people to search on any criteria including the custom fields and display results. Search facility must also include a relevant fulltext search of the job description. CV matching service that looks up the users profile and matches it to relevant jobs and every x days as specified by the user it sends an email with job matches in. Example of mysql datbase included. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and working program(s) in executable php form as well as complete source cod, reasonably commented e of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be installed on the working web server and seen running. All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Must run on a PHP 4/5 Mysql 4+ system.
