DNS setup and pointing domain name to rental server

I own and manage the "[login to view URL]" domain name; a vanity URL where "se" actually represents Sweden. Currently it is only accessible with a "www" prefix ("[login to view URL]")*. I have access to a control panel for the domain name where I can - probably in a limited fashion - tinker about with DNS records and what-have-you. I need a tutor to help and advise me with enabling "[login to view URL]" and redirecting "[login to view URL]" to the above "[login to view URL]". ONLY using DNS (if this is possible; if it *isn't* possible then please advise). I will give login details to the control panel only as a last resort. ALSO, I need a tutor to help and advise me pointing the above "[login to view URL]" to a rental server that I already own and manage. The rental server in question already has a different domain name pointing to it. Can the same rental server have two different domain names? So, in summary here is what I want to achieve/learn (hopefully only via DNS records): [1] Enabling "[login to view URL]" and redirecting "[login to view URL]" to "[login to view URL]" [2] Pointing the above "[login to view URL]" to a rental server of mine This project is a tutoring project more than anything, and so I am quite willing to pay for advice to the effect of "what you're trying to do is impossible!" (as long as it's correct advice!). I realise that DNS changes take a while to propagate, and so there will be plenty of time for this project. Also, if we need to tinker about with redirect pages and/or .htaccess files and/or Apache config files etc on my rental server, I will be willing to pay more. This is an easy project for those in the know. What are you waiting for?! *Be careful with Firefox, it will timeout/error on a request to "[login to view URL]" and then intelligently prefix a "www". Using Opera is easier to test.
