Desktop Photo uploader

We would like to introduce a desktop photo uploader to users of our existing Photo site. This uploader will need to be compatible with both Windows and the Mac. Flickr recently open sourced its code for Flickr Uploader. [login to view URL] We would like this code to be used as the basis for our Uploader. To comply with licensing requirements, we will be making the source code for this uploader available as well. We will need the following changes made to the Flickr Uploader: 1. Change of icon, colors and images in the application. Also, the application should be renamed our Brand (Logo, Colors etc) instead of Flickr Uploadr. 2. Addition of the application into Autoplay on PC’s so that when a media card with photos is inserted, this option appears 3. Removal of the following features that we do not support: a. Upload quotas b. Friends and family groups c. Hide from Public site areas d. Content type e. Safety Levels f. Sets 4. Addition of the following features that Flickr does not support a. Albums b. Place tags. c. EXIF extract of meta information We will provide you with: 1. Graphics (Icons, color scheme etc) 2. Details of the API (our API is very similar to Flickr's) Please take a look at the attached document for details. This is an urgent requirement and the right team can expect a stead stream of projects. Please note, canned responses will be ignored. Analyze the requirement and submit a quote with break ups and explanations. Do not forget to add some time and estimates towards testing, especially for the Mac. Looking forward to your bids. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP, Vista, Mac
