I require a web developer who has strong skills in asp, xml and Flash (development not design). I require an interface that allows a user to edit content that sits in an XML file on a web server. This would be displayed and updated in a Flash swf. A user should also be able to create different versions of a project. Ideally all the files for the project would be stored in a directory and this directory would be duplicated and renamed each time a new build was required. I would require the flexibility to mark certain "tags" in an xml file as updateable and then use the Flash interface to read the existing values from these tags and then update them if required. I also require the ability to upload images and to create different paths/folders for them a web server. I require Flash as we need a very accurate way of working out font sizes and carriage returns etc. On the target platform the xml requires a \n to signify a carriage return so this sort of text manipulation is also required. Example XML files will be supplied. I will require you to sign an NDA. Lots of potential for future work! Will pay upto $500 for an elegant solution. I MUST BE ABLE TO CHANGE WHICH TAGS ARE UPDATABLE AND CREATE DIFFERENT PROJECTS/VERSIONS/ETC. Ideally I don't want to use components only asp files. I will give you full access to our development server. Get back to me with your proposals and costs asap.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
