Comparison shopping engine + Website - repost

Hi, I completely understand your requirement that you are not looking for a Ecommerce website, You are looking for a Website where user can compare the price of a product. For this type of website what is needed to finalize first that is the Number of website you will use for Comparison and you have talk with them for getting their API suppose I want a website and my website will show Comparison of Price between ebay and Amazon then I have to have an API of Ebay and Amazon. And another point need to be mention that the name of the Product has to be same in all the website to compare. Suppose a User is searching for i Phone 5 and that are in Amazon as well as in Ebay but in Ebay the name of the product is I phone Classic then system will not be able to identify that as a same product. So first point is to select the number of website and website name as each website has their different pattern of coding and different style for Product URL. I hope I explain the things clearly to you. If I get a list of module from you which you want in first version that will be great for me. Because the budget you mentioned is not the budget of the websites that you mentioned on Project specs, I know that you like some of the features of those website. Hi, Are you looking for somebody to build you a price comparison engine or do you want to utilize some already existing feeds ? If you want an engine - how do you want it to work ? As far as I know big companies like pricegrabber have agreements with online shops and they get XMLs with unified products and prices, this is something you need to think of when you want to build your own. I know that many of those i.e. pricegrabber have their own feed you can use, and I think this is what you are looking for but for that you need an agreement with pricegrabber, same goes for others I think. Anyway I can do anything in web based projects using PHP/mysql and other technologies, I just need to know what you want :) feel free to ask me any questions Jakub Bernatowicz
