Component Search

1. Developers can search the component on keyword basis. Keyword will be matched with the field product_description of the tblProducts table using LIKE clause. This will show the products available from all publishers based on the keyword entered and page should not show more than 10 results on a page. If results are more than 10 than it should be displayed on the next page. Its 100% similar to as google shows the results. 2. "Search By Category". When developer click on this link all categories will be displayed along with the component counts. For example Barcodes category will be displayed as: Barcodes(3) which means there are three components in the barcode category. Once developer select the category it will list all components. 3. "Search By Publisher". When Developer click on this link all publishers will be displayed along with the component counts. For example LeadTools publisher will be displayed as: LeadTools(10) which means there are 10 components submitted by this publisher. Once developer select the publisher it will list all components. 4. "Submit a product". When Publisher wants to submit a product he can come and enter the product name, select a category name,then select a publisher name, enter the short product description (250 words) and will submit the product. One administration interface is required to check whether the entry is valid or not. If Administrator says yes it goes into the database or no then it get deleted from the temporary table. If publisher is not in the list box or if it is a new publisher then he has to register with us first. For this we will ask for his details in the form of a web forms Publisher Name, Publisher URL, Address and Contact Details. Administrator will review and then allows him to submit the product. 5. "Advertise Programs". As google shows the sponsored links on the right side.
