AJAX / PHP Tabbed browsing feature

We are developing a hospital comparison website allowing patients to search for hospitals worldwide based on the treatment they require. We need implementation of a ‘tabbed browsing’ type feature similar to having multiple tabs for different browser windows in firefox. This will require a very good expertise in Ajax. When a user searches for a particular treatment they get a list of hospitals that carry out that treatment. The user then clicks the desired hospital from the search results which will display the full hospital brochure. We want this brochure to display in a ‘tab’ next to the search results. The search results is also in a tab. The user can then click the search results tab to view the original search results again without having to press the back button in the browser. They can then select another hospital and that will appear in another tab – now they will have three tabs – the search results tab and two hospital tabs – this way they can click between the two hospital tabs and compare them side by side easily. The user should be allowed to open up to 7 tabs at once ie. Have 6 hospital tabs open. The actual hospital listing contains various components from the data base e.g. google maps, video gallery, photo gallery etc and we need the user to be able to flick seamlessly from one tab to the next without taking a long time and without multiple refreshes. Ideally once a new tab has loaded it should not have to reload when it is clicked a second time. We need someone who is highly skilled in Ajax, PHP and MySQL to develop tabbed browsing for the site for when users compare multiple hospitals or clinics. We want this to be quick and user friendly, similar in functionality to how tabbed browsing works in fire fox. I understand this is quite a complicated feature and so please only respond if you feel you are up to the task. Time frame 1 week.
