Automated report delivery system

Several small projects leading to possible major engagement. Completion of order form system on [[login to view URL]][1] with PayPal integration and automated delivery of reports. This project is already working and initially some extra work and minor adaptations need to be made. The orginal developer will be at your disposal for advice, but is unable to work full time on this project because of other commitments. ## Deliverables **Initial Rentacoder specs** Owing to the involvement of our UK programmer in another major project, we need one or two developers to take over a few ongoing developments in an expanding project that involves distributing astrology content via international portals. We are seeking developers in India where we are establishing an office (in Dehradun, Uttaranchal) in February 2011. Two well-paid full time positions will be available there at this time under the supervision of World of Wisdom (WOW) CEO Adrian Ross Duncan, and priority will be given to developers who are interested in these positions. What follows here are several small developments which need to be handed over by UK programmer Andy Gray to new coders. All development needs to take place with reference to the existing infrastructure established by Andy, with the emphasis on flexibility and easy maintenance. If preferred, the developer can make offer on project 1.1. and on completion of this project, proceed with the next one. **1.1. Astrology for Lovers (relationship horoscope) reports** 1.1.1. This system has not yet been automated. Reports are generated manually using the software and then sent to customers via email. 1.1.2. The order form for relationship horoscopes requires two sets of data for each person. Definition of birth place uses the online ACS Atlas to identify towns, time zones and daylight savings times. 1.1.3. The UK developer has (nearly) completed the UK and Danish relationship order form. 1.1.4. This project requires creating order form and order form page for Swedish, Portuguese and Spanish relationship horoscopes and including reports in drop down language field on order form. 1.1.5. Orders are processed by PayPal but will be delivered manually. 1.1.6. Orders are registered in the queue, and email confirmations delivered to WOW support. 1.1.7. Automation of the Astrology for Lovers program will be a major project to be commenced in 2011, and will not be undertaken at this time. **1.2. Affiliate/Associate system** 1.2.1. Real time generation of WOW reports enables WOW to sell solutions to portals and business partners, where we take a percentage. 1.2.2. Our UK programmer already has the infrastructure in place for the affiliate system, but the system needs tweaking. 1.2.3. The existing system needs improving so that new associates can enroll as sellers by adding a simple code to their web pages, enabling their customers to order reports. 1.2.4. Associates go to a generic WOW associate page, which has its own order queue specific to that associate. 1.2.5. Associates' customers will pay via WOW's PayPal site. Associates (and WOW) can track sales in order queue. Associates invoice WOW monthly. 1.2.6. All WOW reports sales and associate report sales can be accessed by the Control Panel, which is already complete, but needs tweaking in cooperation with Andy. **1.3. AstroCalendar reports** 1.3.1. AstroCalendar reports are already successfully generated and delivered in English and Danish. 1.3.2. This project involves generation of calendar reports in Swedish. 1.3.3. The Swedish translations are complete, and the work involves: - Calendar order form in Swedish - PayPal integration - Integration in order queues - Success and failure web pages - Email delivery of reports - PDF formatting of report (exactly as for Danish and English Calendar reports) **1.4. ** **Multilingual report order system** 1.4. Horoscope Interpreter (birth horoscope) reports 1.4.1. This system is basically working fine in English and Danish, and soon in Swedish. Further development of order form similar to the one found at this URL: <[login to view URL]> This order form delivers 20+ page horoscope reports in English. Danish reports are available at this URL: <[login to view URL]> 1.4.2. We need an order page for other language reports. The translation has been done, the order form just needs completion. Languages are Portuguese, Norwegian, German and Spanish. 1.4.3. Different language order forms should integrate with PayPal in appropriate language, so some knowledge of PayPal checkout is necessary 1.4.4. Confirmed orders need to connect to report generation system (already functioning) if positive, or to failure page if payment does not go through. 1.4.5. Orders are processed in the Order Queue. The English queue can be seen here: <[login to view URL]> 1.4.5. Developer will need to have understanding of the World of Wisdom database and report generation, formatting and extraction process. Our developer Andy Gray can provide documentation. The generation of multilingual reports is already in place. However there are certain tweaks that need to be made in the formatting of the reports. These are the current projects. Bear in mind that no major coding needs to be done as the existing programmer has the basic infrastructure in place. WOW is open to discussion if work takes longer (or shorter) to process and happy to compensate through bonuses if the work is well done.
