The job will be to write a webshop for our software DMI ePublish. The webshop should be easy to use, with product overviews, product descriptions (detailed), and with a shopping basket. And easy to include in any webdesign.
Login functionality is already in place. The webshop should be built as a module for our publication system DMI ePublish. Full workable demo can be found on demo.dmi.no. The webshop must fit within the design. The Webshop must be language independant (all labels stored in a specific php file), and it must be possible to choose to display the webshop either on internet, intranet or extranet.
It must run on MS Windows with PHP4 and mySQL5.
Payment is done on completion of product. If you require payment before this, please do not place your bid.
The Webshop is sold to us with complete source code and copyrights.
Full front end and backend functionality must be present. It must be optional (or at least possible to purchase products without loggin on) to login before purchase. Currently no online payment required, but it must be easy to add at a later stage.
The backend design should be locked to the design of DMI ePublish.
All bidders must have an active msn account, for easy access when the project starts.
There will be NO detailed written description of what functionality the webshop should include. We put stuff in as we go along, but the customers want something EASY. It must be possible to add your own labels to some field in a product. Like some product might need a "lenght" field label, and some product might not need that. Must be somehow configurable to some extent.
If you prove to be the right man for this job, you will be offered more work at a later stage. Your bid is FINAL. The job should be done within a timelimit of MAX 25 days. But anytime sooner is good.
If you already have a webshop script that you might want to alter and sell to us. You do have to sign a document saying that you own the rights to sell the script to us, and that we hold the copyright of the script with the alterations. Do not sell stuff that is not yours.
When all that is said, I hope I can get a really great developer for this job.
