I need two pieces of javascript with this project:
Part One: Detect all hyperlinks in a document that match a pattern, then pass those links to a document in an iframe as a query string.
E.g.:
_pattern='[login to view URL]';
_query_string=getHyperlinks(_pattern);
_document.iframe.location='[login to view URL]'+_query_string
Part Two: I don't know if this is possible, but if it is... OnClick of any hyperlink that matches _pattern, trap and redirect to _newPage+clickedHyperlink
E.g. if my pattern is '[login to view URL]' and someone clicks on a href='[login to view URL]', I want to trap that and actually send them to [login to view URL]
Notes:
When passing URLs in query string, they must of course be URL encoded.
The script must be able to detect all links in the page - i.e. not only those that are hardcoded, but those created by javascripts that don't appear in the source code.
That's all!
Thanks for bidding, Chris
