Custom Module for Magento

Objective We need a custom module for our new webshop. Our objective is to make a webstore, where our partners (manufacturers) can manage (add, edit, delete) their products in our website, meanwhile they have no access to the other part of the admin area. We have many open questions, therefore we would like to go step by step. The first step is a new module where we can manage our manufacturers. Current stage A clean Magnto ver 1.3.2.4 installed on the server. There is one category called ‘Manufacturers’ with the ID: 3 There is one Permission Role with the ID: 4 (have access only to the Catalog) Our needs Modify the [login to view URL] files so we can manage our manufactures. Company Information are needed: company name, company logo (image), introduction (text), Address, Phone, Fax, E-mail, Web, Status (Enable/Disable) Admin area for us: If we add a new manufacturer in the module it should: create a new child category under the Manufacturers category (already exists ID:3 ) create a new user with the permission role (already exists ID: 4) create a new attribute option for manufacturer (id 66) send an email to the given email address that with the login information If we modify the company name in the new module: it should modify the manufacturer name, and the category name/url also. If we modify the username, or password in the new module: it should change in the user permission section also We are able to access to every product and able to edit them Admin area for our manufacturer: They can access only to catalog manage products. they should see/edit only their products. In the product edit page, only the general, prices, images, categories inventory, custom options should show up the rest should be hidden. For example in the general tab some other fields should be hidden as well: like Set Product as New from Date, Set Product as New to Date, URL key, and manufacturer If a manufacturer adds a new product it should automatically assign the product attribute (Manufacturer) to the one who has logged in. In the categories tab, they should only see the category which is their name (and it’s subcategories). So they can not be able to assign products to other manufacturers’ categories. Users with manufacturer permission are also able to reach their page where they can change their own information, such as, company name, and content informations etc. First of all we would like to get an offer for the above mentioned project. After the successful co-operation (work, payment has been done), we can move on the next step, which includes that with manufacturer permission user can manage categories under his own category, and also fron-end. We can provide detailed plan for step 2 after we have been working with the new module, and we can close some open questions. First step should be done within 2-3 weeks.
