Build a hexadecimal color website

Hello, What is the motivation behind your choice of generating a page for each color? Based on the information you provided, I think a single page with content based on the URL could be sufficient. A responsive design can be created by using Bootstrap. I'm also aware of Google's limitation of 50,000 URLs per sitemap. This means you'll need 336 sitemaps, which need to be referenced in the sitemap index. I don't think the 10MB size limit is going to be an issue. Answer to your question is that I will not create HTML pages, instead all 16^6 colors will be loaded from database with their description. The only question is, will all colors have different wordings or same wordings with different color codes in it per color? So the individual page will not be generated on 100KB, instead let's assume 1024 characters (title and description) or 1KB will be stored in database, that means exactly 16 GB of database. Hi, about your questions, This website can be made dynamically, this means that with a php algorithm or form a database, all the colors and all the content as on your reference website can be determined, so basically your website size will be no more than just few mega witch will include all assets such as styles, images and code. I can make your website with jquery mobile, that will give it a responsive design and cross device (desktop/mobile/tablet) capable. Also the sitemap can be made dynamically exactly as your content, i can limit the results, and build as as many sitemaps as you want by using some limits and offsets, this means you can have how many sitemaps you want grouped/limited by how many color pages will be. the number of the pages depends on the php algorithm that will be used to generate colors.

Hello Sir, as per your concern to generate 16^6 pages, I suggest if we use same template file for all the color pages, then we have to create only one page and using the template engine of a CMS like wordpress, we can render a page depending on its color code. Each color code have its other information needs to be saved in the database, and will be fetched at the time of rendering page for that color. I am learning about sitemap and I understand it needs to be in XML format and will provide access to all the page's urls. But still if we are using same template file for all colors then we do not need to include the sitemap for them. Please comment. Regarding Design, I will provide you the design similar to the example website provided by you using CSS, HTML and JQuery and it will be Responsive too. I suggest using a CMS like wordpress or even directly through the PHP/MySQL this site can be created easily. Thanks.

Hi. It looks like an interesting project for me. I understand that you are concerned about the traffic and computing time. There are a lot of techniques to reduce this: 1) We could use HTTP caching for images, js and css scripts. This means that the users will download these files at the first request then the Webserver will send a 304 response (File not changed). 2) Uglify css/js files to decrease it's size 3) Compress HTTP responses with gzip to reduce it's size And on the server side: 1) Maybe use HHVM? :D (I haven't used it yet but I heard that it's really good) 2) Memcached for frequently used websites. 3) Avoid using heavy weight CMS-es. I'd write one myself. Generating (and saving?) all the pages would take 2 or 3 hours as I calculated. (depends on the server you have) That's all I can think about right now. I have a question too. Why would you like to use MySQL for this site? I think it's much more faster if you do the calculations in real time (Basic math).
