The task is to add functions to a recently developed nurse booking system (developed on a PHP framework). Functions: Nurse to set availability dates Nurse time sheet upload/review Nurse registration form field additions Simple matching of nurse to available work Reports based on basic database queries i.e. table of nurse working a particular day/night/week Aggregate hours worked per hospital per week/month and invoice hospital Aggregate hours worked per nurse per week/month and generate information for pay-slip purposes Data capture through forms and queries Bug fixes as they arise I have tried to make the requirements straightforward that a fairly experienced PHP coder can easily work on. The aim being to keep the system as simple as possible.
