Capture value of Keypress and show alert on screen

We are developing a web app for TV and testing it on Sony Smart TV EX-42 which is using opera 9.20. We want to map and utilize the “red??,??blue??, “green??,??yellow?? remote key buttons within browser. Currently these buttons are assigned to a default functionality of the browser i.e. Navigate to Previous and next pages of browser history etc. The project is: You need to make a sample HTML page which can user JavaScript, jQuery or any other supported script which will capture the value of pressed key including the “red??,??blue??, “green??,??yellow?? and show the captured value of the key pressed and alert on the page. You need to access these keys on browser and show different messages on different key press. For example if user will press red button on remote you need to show alert(‘red’) .
