This will be dontated to sourceforge, ZeosLib project. Read on: Looking for a beginners guide to database access with Delphi and the ZeosLib components. ZeosLib is on sourceforge here: [login to view URL] Basically, just creating a client which shows how to add and pull information from a database, using SQL statements etc. Explanations will be needed from the ground up about datasets etc. And good examples of running various queries on the database, using multiple tables etc. Client can have a simple GUI using standard dataware controls, and maybe a PageControl or some such, so part shows adding data into the database, and part shows pulling data from the database. It will need to mainly be focused on Firebird with any setup instructions need for that DB, and in a final section, also mentioned about how to implement the same for MySQL if there are any differences As much information as you have on it really. This is a request because there isn't a good tutorial available for these open source components, so this tutorial will infact be donated to the ZeosLib project as a tutorial. Must be for Delphi 7 win32. And the ZeosLib latest: 6.5.1(alpha). Kind regards.
