Access mdb utility

I need a utility in VB6 that will open one access database (2000) read the structure and create a new database with the same structure. Then it needs to copy the data from an existing mdb (may not be the same identical structure) into the new database. Then rename the old database for backup purposes and rename the new database to the old database name. Basically it's a utility for updating one database structure to an expanded or modified structure of the same database without loss of data. This includes allowing for new tables that might be added, new field names, and modification of the length of the fields. This is for doing updates to an existing software package we sell. The current app uses DAO, and this will be used as a standalone utility by the user. If this works well for both of us, then there could be future work in expanding this utility as well. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform All Windows platforms 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT, XP.
