Build a front page for my Thesis 2 multisite blog

I have a a multisite blog built in Thesis 2 on Wordpress. I am seeking to build a front page for the site that will amalgamate content from the various subdirectories and update the front page with a specific Image/Text/Link Teaser when I create a new post in one of the blogs. I want to change the front page to a 3 column format with C1,C2 teaser content and C3 remaining as a sidebar widget. The rest of the site is fully functional and working, the project is just for adjusting the skin of the front page. I would like to see either an example of your prior implementation of this work, or your process for creating this in order to move forward with the allocating the project.
