Customize/set up Child theme Geo Theme

I am trying to set up a child theme for Geo Theme, which I want to look like this one [login to view URL] but I'm still not getting near it. I used to have a 'normal' theme with a review plugin, but it was not wat I was looking for. But it requires some more knowledge (and patience...) to get around the Geo Theme than I thought. Also the fact I'm dutch an a Word Press beginner does not make things easier. So I'm looking for someone who can set things up for me like the site I mentioned above, but with some other colours ofcourse. It should be a yelp like site about horse products/companies/events Also I would like a Thumbshot plugin to work in the places area, because I have a lot of webshops in my database and I rather not make lots of screenshots of them. I cannot seem to get it to work. It's just a set up, I will do the content filling and things myself. I don't have lots of budget, I'm just starting this thing, but maybe there is someone who can help me out before I pull all of my hair out!!! For more details, please contact me.
