Project Description: I want a database which I can use to generate quotations for my business I have attached 2 excel files one which I use as a template and the other which is what it evolves into when the job is complete The printed quote for the customer should be split into categories as shown. When a customer books a job I want to be able to convert the quote into an order generate the purchase orders for the different supplies from this order I also need to generate a document like the checklist which takes some info from the order and also where I can add additional info I would prefer if this database could be hosted in the cloud so I could access it from anywhere but this is not a deal breaker The database can be Access sql filemaker or any other you choose There is no strict timeline on the project but I would like it done a s quickly as possible I want a database which stores contacts for customers and suppliers Out of this I want to send quotations to contacts from products we manufacture and also goods we resell I want to be able to make revisions to the quotations When we are awarded the job I want to be able to convert the quote to a job and use the database to generate purchase orders to the suppliers and also generate a checklist with info from the quotation and other info.

Good day and thank you for reading my proposal. Microtronix has been in business now for 12 years and has 200 customers in 12 countries of the world. We also have offices in the USA and Guatemala, C.A. We work primarily developing large Cloud based PHP systems to replace windows programs or older systems. We recently worked for Irvine Public Schools in California developing an online system to track all schools in the district. We also worked recently on a continuing assessment system for the board of medicine in Chicago. Both systems are 100% cloud based PHP systems. These are only a few of the projects we have worked on lately. We can do this project for you in PHP with MySQL as the database backend. You will need a hosting environment to host this on with PHP5 and MySQL5. If you do not have this already please let me know, Microtronix also has a Hosting Division and I can quote you a cheap hosting for this purpose. The price is a bit high, higher than you bid, I know. But what you are looking for is not such an easy task. I have taken the price down a bit in hopes of future work. The final system we will make you will be 100% AJAX based, very quick system. It will have a user login for you as the admin, using a user login and encryption system we created ourselves in house. It will also have all else you have requested. We will include the quotations in PDF format and they can be emailed to customers. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

I have got a detailed proposal I can send you, but I have over eight years experience in .NET and MSSQL. I have developed a site for an ecommerce site working with a shopping cart, but I have also worked service application sites (sorry can’t give you screen shots, but the company name is Global PC) in which jobs are autopopulated as the person types. In the ecommerce site, once a booking has been paid for either from Paypal or by an agreed crediting an invoice is automatically generated from within the application. This application is not exactly the same as your application, however invoices and quotation can be managed with the database for a given transaction (quote/invoice).
