I am in need of a program that downloads updates for our homegrown program on a daily basis from an ftp site. Once installed I need the program to copy itself to a slave computer at the individual stores. I'm guessing that the best way to then install the updates would be to download into the startup in Windows98 and the updates would then be installed to their specific folders. After the program installed the updates I will need it to delete itself so that it doesn't run everytime Windows is restarted. The most important part is that our homegrown program cannot be running when the updates are installed that is why I have suggested that the program that I need coded be downloaded into the startup inorder to make sure that the program isn't running.
