A simple file manager

This program should have the following features: * List directories and files. * Rename files from a specific point in a sequence order. * Execute a Windows program. ## Deliverables The purpose of this program is to manage files in a specific order. This program should have the following features: An “Insert?? button will create space for a new file and rename the existing files. A “Restore?? button restore the sequence order in case the user wants to roll back. Each file has a file property which is kept in a XML file. This has to be in a tabbed a readable format. The name of the XML file is the very same name as the first part of the file name. (see below) Initially the only property is a text field which keeps a description of each file. The program shall also be able to execute the associated program which is stored in Windows. So if it is an Excel file, the Excel is executed with the selected file as parameter. The “New?? button executes a Windows program. The path to the program has to be stored somewhere in a text file. This file manager is a program which lists files in alphabetic order. The program shall have a renaming function which enables the user to rename files counted from a selected file. A file name is divided into 2 parts. The first part is the general name of the file and the other part is the sequence number. In this case the first part is “DG200_03_?? and the last part is the sequence number in 3 digit format. So, the first file name is DG200_03_001. The XML file name in this case is “DG200_03??. The sequence number starts from 001 to 999. Ex. DG200_03_001 DG200_03_002 DG200_03_003 DG200_03_004 The “Insert?? ??" button, create space for a new file before the selected file name. This means that the select file and the files below are renamed in a consecutive order. Ex. If the file DG200_03_002 is selected, the current 004 will now be renamed to 005, 003 => 004, 002 => 003 etc. The “Restore?? - button renames the current sequence number insert a new file before the selected file name. Finally, the program has: A directory and file list view. A text field which keeps the description of the file and is stored in the XML-file. A button which rename file names. A button which restore, in case there is a inconsistency in the sequence number A button which executes a Windows program. It is basically a very simple program. Keep the code simple, we are not impressed of fancy and complicated hard to read code. Some programmer has this ability and some has not …
