Adobe Flex Hotel booking - alotment Management system

We need a hotel availability management and booking system. The system will be divided to 2 major parts the administration part and the front end. The application will be developed with MS SQL server 2008, c# as much as concern the core and all the crud operations and for the presentation layer it would be used adobe flex. The design (skin + css) will be done by us. There would be a web config file where the system administrator will be able to use (db connection string, hotel url, etc) ## Deliverables We need a hotel availability management and booking system. The communication between the core of the system and the presentation layer would be accomplished via WSDL web services which are going to adopt [login to view URL] definition standards. The administration part will include: 1. Add - edit - delete users and access rights on every control would be developed for the administration (the groups will be predefined (Administrators, hotel managers, hotel employees, travel agents, end B2C users) 2. Hotel initialization which will include all the hotel details, the languages the application will use, room types, hotel facilities (predefined list based on an xml doc), room facilities (predefined list based on an xml doc), terms and conditions to all languages, cancellation policy (based on the dates before the booking) 3. room types initialization unlimited picture of every room type, photo description, room description, max persons, max adults, max infants, max children, room location. 4. Room availability definition where the administrator will define periods of availability of each room type. 5. Multiple price list definition where the administrator will define all the pricing model of all room types for specific periods (meal plan, extra bed, per person per room, supplements etc). 6. Offers definitions where the administrator will be able to define some hotel offers like (for every 2 days booking the third day is for free or for a specific period 30% of ) 7. News letter where the administrator will be able to send offers or any other news letter to any of the predefined group of users. 8. XML api where any travel agent user could use in order to develop his own booking system ( all the WSDL our fron ent will use). 9. A set of views (availability view, bookings view, cancelation view, customers view, users view etc) Front End For the front a custom Flex control will be developed which is going to contain the following steps. 1. Room search form (check in date, check out date, num of rooms, number of adults, num of children num of infants, search button) 2. The next step will be a display with all the available room types for the selected period of time. 3. Detailed view for any selected room type (photos, descriptions, room facilities, day by day charge etc) 4. At the next step the user will select the room he request and he will forced to register if he is first time customer or to log in to the system. Then he will be forced to insert all the names of the people which are going to stay to the selected room or rooms (room by room) 5. At this step the user will have to accept the terms and contions. 6. After he accept the terms and conditions he will be redirected to the bank URL where he will be asked to pay with his credit card 7 after the sucess transaction he will returned to our site and he will see his voucher with all the reservations details. At the same time the system will automatically send the same voucher to pdf format to the hotel mail and to customers mail. Cancellation custom flex control This control will be consist to a text box where the user will be asked to insert the booking reference number and press cancel. The system will estimate the days before the arrival and will inform the customer about the amount which is going to be refund. The system then will send 2 mails to the hotel and the client about the cancellation and the availability will be changed to the system releasing the specific room or rooms.
