Category Search - PHP and MYSQL

Ok, this is the scenario: I want a very efficient search engine(php script) for searching my auction database. I already have a search engine( a php script) that i currently use, but it is not efficient enough. I will not limit you to using the table structure i already have to perform the search. You will come up with the table structures that will allow the search to be very efficient. Tables will probably include category, auctions, e.t.c. Basically i want the search results to look like the one's in [login to view URL](in terms of the way stuff is being displayed), but more efficient. I don't care about a pretty interface, i already have an interface. Just make the interface functional. Since this is not a difficult task, especially for those who already have experience in php. I will only give you 2-3 days to complete this task. Please only bid if you are confident that you can do it, or you have done it before. The search engine must be very efficient - best case around O(logn) and worst case around O(nlogn). Remember this is for an auction site. Enjoy!! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Should run on Windows 2000,xp,2003 and ofcourse Linux. Browser - Internet Explorer 3.0+, firefox-all, opera, netscape and safari.
