city of bands

i am building an online community for Los Angeles based musicians. this site will be a place where musicians can create a homepage that has, on each bands page their will be a. a description of the band b. link for bands members to have individual pages c. place to list their upcoming shows d. place to post some pictures e. place for the band to have a blog f. form to email the band g. potentially more things the site will have two types of logins a. band logins for those signed up to put their bands on the site, to access their account and update their band page b. fan login. for fans to connect to their favorite bands and listen to music, find out when shows are, email the bands, etc. to start, i want the site to be textbased and simple much like craigslist. the home page will have a directory that guides you into the different parts of the site. their will be some ads hosted at the top and the sidebars. their should be a community functionality like myspace where bands can connect and invite each other to join. or bands can just join from the homepage and then invite others to become band friends. the main media functions of the site will be to host some pictures, and music. bands should be able to login and upload pictures, music files, modify their show dates, modify their blog. i want the site to be very simple and easy to maintain an support, the interface can be simple and text based like craigslist, are you familiar with [login to view URL] i am working on designing some mock up pages to show what i want on the pages. i dont want any fancy graphics or fancy flash just what minimal amount is needed to serve some music on the band pages and to make an online radio station that people can listen to check out myspaces bands pages and craigslist to get an idea of what i want to pull off ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
