Data entry - script

Hello I would like to find someone that would be able to write a script/software that eanbles me to convert a specific text that always looks the same into another altered text which extracts cetain data from the original text and inputs it in the new one. For example Text 1 always looks lik this; New U.S. home sales posted a tepid 0.7 percent increase last month, missing Wall Street expectations and providing more evidence that the housing market recovery remains tentative. Text 2 should always look like this: The Commerce Department said orders for goods expected to last at least three years declined 2,4 percent, after increasing 4,8 percent in July. I would like the script to gather certain data from text 1 that is always in the same place and directly translate that specific data into the other text template. So if I copy text 1 the script should be able to directly translate that into text 2. Notice that the comma dot has been changed to a comma for example. It is the price info that is the only thing that should be collected from text 1 and input into the template of text 2. The process should be simple and work by a simple copy paste basis.
