I need a Chrome extension created that does the following.
I have a website that displays the name / email address / phone number etc of people who sign up on my site. I want to inject a link when viewing a particular page on my website that links out to another site. The other site excepts url variables, and I want to pass those to the other site.
As an example, here is a snippet of the source that displays the name, email and phone number of a person.
===============================
<div class="item_content_summary lead accepted"><h4 class="item_content_title">
<a href="[login to view URL]">
<abbr title="Katie Lastname">Katie Lastname</abbr></a></h4>
<div class="groups"></div><div class="item_content_additional">
<a class="email" title="Email this Lead"href="[login to view URL]">klastname2007@[login to view URL]</a>
<strong class="phone">555-555-5555</strong>
==============================
You will parse the person's first name, last name, phone number, and email address into variables. The extension will have two basic setup features.
1. What root URL should it be active on.
2. How should the URL be constructed. The phone number above is what will become the <a href> So I envision the setting in the back to be something like a simple one line that lets me insert variables. Such as :
<a href="[login to view URL]{insert_phone_variable}?first_name={insert_first_name_variable}" target="_blank">
