Mastroe Charity offer enterprise training within a social enterprise environment to develop, upskill and prepare beneficiaries for the workplace.
We recently obtained an Amazon Web Services and installed 2 instances of our Odoo ERP system. one for Test, Development and Training, the other is our live site.
The first problem is that we are unable to send or recieve e-mails via the 2 systems.
It seems that Odoo and AWS are not talking to each other properly. It might be that an SSL certificate needs to be installed. We will like the odoo system to be able to make outbound connections as we will like it to be able to connect with other systems like paypal , google apps etc.
We also tried to configure etherpad, Etherpad is useful to us because it allows us to do more with the text in terms of editing and collaborate with other people. I couldn't get node.js to work properly; [login to view URL] & [login to view URL]
The DEV Odoo instance is very slow. Can this be sped up a bit?
Finally we have noticed some problems especially in our test system when trying to create products. Elements disappear after being created. Although they seem to be elsewhere. We are not sure if its that the entries are not making their way into the database, necessary user authorisations are still needed or if this is just user error / training related.
The help that we need is to get the new system working to standard. We might also need help inserting a few products ensuring that we can get the system to do what we want. Basic training of some people on our team will also be beneficial.
Our goal is to get as many of our beneficiaries as possible trained to facilitate their employment. Our budget is limited but do apply if you have the necessary skills in this area.
