I worked with arduino and know very well about how to interface arduino with web and control appliances using arduino Ethernet shield.... Hi there, I once worked with a Internet of Things project using Arduino Yun. The aim of the project was to remotely control different home appliance via a website. And I believe that you're project is almost similar just that you've added temperature sensing and you're using Arduino to interface with the Internet. And I also programmed Raspberry Pi 2 running Windows. For this project, the way I'll approach this is that I'll need to first determine the temperature sensor and how it works to communicate with Arduino. Then, after that interface data from Arduino to Raspberry Pi in order for you to perform whatever you need with your data. Then after that, we'll work with a function/interface for switching your relay. And lastly, we'll need to discuss how you plan to remotely control using via the Web/locally. I've completed and continue to work on several projects involving communicating with Raspberry Pi and Arduino over the internet, all of which have involved relays. Depending on the application, you may want to look into using transistors instead, as they're faster, silent, and less bulky.
