Hi guys, I need a system administrator to achieve the following solution: 1) You need to create a remote instance running a OS with a browser (eg. Chrome or Firefox) 2) You need to develop a software that capture the screen of the browser every eg. 15 seconds and posts the picture to a remote server using a REST endpoint 3) The instance should sleep during night time I will give you the access to the server (eg. Digital Ocean) and the web application (HTML+CSS+JS) to be displayed in the browser. Thank you, Riccardo

Hi Riccardo, I would be happy to set this up for you. My approach would be to install a light weight Linux desktop (Mate). I would then setup Chrome and run your web app from there. I will use CRON jobs to call the external API. Typically, I use a 2nd server to wake the web-app instance having been shut down over night. I'm not quite sure how I solve this for your case. One approach maybe to use DigitalOcean controls - to stop and start the server as required. I would need to research DO to see if they do indeed provide this functionality like Google Compute Engine.
