My client (in the sign industry) wants a Job/Work Order Management System to be developed in FileMaker version 13. They are using a custom system written some years ago in an older version of FileMaker. The decision was made to re-design the system with fresh new look and enhancements, using version 13 of FileMaker. The important tables and fields have already been created. The layouts for one module (Sales Leads) have already been created - this serves as your specification. We now need you to replicate the Sales Leads layout design for the other modules: Customers and Suppliers. While you are working on this project, I will be creating the template layout design for another module. When you have finished this project, I will then get you to replicate the template design I created for the other modules, as a new project after this one. Those other modules include Products, Materials, Equipment, Resources, Site Surveys, Quotes, Jobs, Projects, Purchase Orders, Invoices. In summary, I will be designing the system, you will program it based on my design. That is, I want you to copy the screen design for Sales Leads List, Sales Lead and Add Sales Lead layouts, and do the same for Customers and Suppliers. That is, create a Customers List, Customer screen, Add Customer wizard, Suppliers List, Supplier screen, Add Supplier wizard using the same design as Sales Lead. Program all the buttons etc on these new Customer and Supplier layouts you create. It should only take a day. I have already created the customers and suppliers tables and fields. Based on how well you do this project, we have more planned like it as mentioned above. All part of the same system.
