Hi, I would use the Python networking library PodSixNet to handle communications between client and server. If the server is interacting with a database, I will use the library 'peewee' to communicate with it. I have used both of these technologies in a previous project implementing an online game of checkers. If the client requires a GUI, I would create it using Tkinter, which I have experience using.
