Talented and self motivated Animator sought to create a Marvel / DC Comics styled Promotional video in a Gothic setting for an established European Metal/Hard Rock band. The track also features a guest appearance by a FAMOUS Rock Singer with a HUGE worldwide fanbase that will ensure MASSIVE exposure. The timescale is VERY aggressive with the video being planned for Worldwide release in Mid-February alongside a digital single, with the subsequent album release due middle of March. We would want this completed and ready for release (on the web & possibly on DVD or VCD - so quality has to be HIGH) in LATE JANUARY. We want the individual to take our concept and create a story board which should incorporate the "story line concept" plus the BAND & Guest animated performing the song also. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to gain some worldwide exposure, and also break into the European Music scene. We ABSOLUTELY must see examples of your work in this style .... or you should at least be prepared to show an example by animating/drawing the lead singer of the band (Photo will be provided on request) to grab our attention and make sure that you are on the RIGHT track and are totally serious about working with us on this project. Hi, Thank you for considering me for your video promo. Links to online portfolio and animation demo reel upon request. What is the length of the video? Are there characters already developed? My name is Justin and I'm a cartoonist/storyboard artist and animator with a Degree in Animation from Sheridan College. I've been creating illustrations, storyboards and artwork for over 8 years and hold fluent skills in character design, background and layout design, figure drawing, animation and story boarding. I've worked on live action projects involving story boarding and have created children's coloring books and other illustrations. I have numerous years experience working with Manitoba Farmers with Disabilities creating educational artwork for children such as coloring books, illustrations and cartoon characters with a strong focus on safe play in and around the farm yard. I've created artwork for web/mobile content geared toward young children as well as the iphone. I have also had the great opportunity to work on the Kids' WB show Will & Dewitt, which has won a Gemini. I was in charge of production management and design coordinating the preproduction department. I was in charge of breaking down the scripts and determining what props, layouts and character artwork was needed to be created and designed for each episode of the children's show.
