I have an existing VB project that needs a number of bugs fixed
## Deliverables
I have an existing program written in VB, and require a few bug fixes and enhancements. Attached is the original program code, and below are a list of requirements:
• I have just upgraded to Windows 7, and it will not install at all. This obviously needs to be fixed
• If there are any changes to the structure of the database, you will need to convert my current data. This is still updating daily, so let me know when you are ready to convert it, and I will give the latest version.
• On the “Job Details?? screen, there is currently an “X?? to cancel, and a “tick?? to save and exit. I require another button to save and remain open
• On the job details screen, there is a “change?? button next to “Serviceman?? to change the serviceman. I require the same button with the same functionality next to the “Status?? dropdown box.
• Please make the “Sales Journal?? editable
• The details in “Notes?? that are entered on the “Job Details?? screen need to be shown on the search screen as well
• In the top menu, there is a “Find?? option. This only finds the first result. I require a “Find Next?? to find the next result.
• Please add mobile phone field to the invoice template
• Please add another column to the sales journal… “Date Banked??. This should still fit on 1 A4 page.
• For some reason, the “Search?? feature worked for year, but has recently just mysteriously stopped working. Please get this working again
• There has always been problems with the printing. Very often you go to print and it either doesn’t work at all, or prints a blank page. Please fix all print problems.
• Another print bug. If I print a sales journal for March, it will do it, but then if I ask it to print the sales journal for April, it will appear correctly on the screen, but then print March again.
• When saving data in the “Search?? page after editing it, the program shuts down. Please fix this.
• After running the program, can not shut down the computer without going to the task manager and ending the task.
Thanks,
Dan.
