CSV Import into Virtuemart - repost

We have a flat text file from our Point of Sale software that will need to be formatted and loaded into a Virtuemart 2.0.20b based Joomla site. A lot of previous posters have asked what the format is and how many items are in the text file. We are still working on the export of the inventory information at the moment so i don't have an exact number. As to the formatting...that is the job. We need someone familiar with tools like CSVAdvanced or similar tools (which we will purchase if necessary) to recommend which Virtuemart importing tool we should use. The job is to then format our inventory text file to be compatible with those tools and to import into a working Virtuemart demo for us to view. Once a working demo has been approved we will need the working file and the exact steps necessary with documentation on using the file to import into our own database.
