I have been a freelancer and a Graphic Design professional for 12 years and have worked on a broad spectrum of brand communications from logo/brand development to creating point of sale material, pack and label design, electronic and printed newsletters, publication and advertising layout.
I have extensive layout and design experience and enjoy working on precise, detailed projects. In addition, I possess six years of experience in desktop publishing programs. I am highly organised, adept at meeting tight deadlines that are so common in this industry and able to multi-task between various projects.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES IN CURRENT POSITION
1. Liaise with clients to determine their needs and ensure delivery of effective visual
solutions by developing design briefs through gathering information and data to
clarify design issues.
2. Ensure at all times that constraints such as cost and time are taken into consideration
and catered for.
3. Multi-task to deliver on a number of different projects using different visual solutions
such as: photographic, graphic design, illustration and photo retouching briefs.
4. Ensure competence of a wide range of media, including photography and computer
aided design.
5. Produce accurate and high quality work.
6. Work well in teams, with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers,
website designers and marketing specialists.
7. Work on site at conferences and other events as and when required.
